Nutrition Services

We are pleased to inform you that Oxnard Union High School District (OUHSD) will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for 2022-2023 School Year at all OUHSD school sites.

Starting on September 1, 2022 until the end of the 2022-23 academic school year, the Nutrition Services Department will also offer free supper to all students through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). All children 18 and under are welcome to participate in the supper program. Service locations and times vary. Please contact the site Cafeteria Manager for schedule information.

All our menus follow strict requirements for calories, saturated fat, sugar, sodium and whole grains outlined in the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act (HHFKA).  There is no discrimination and use a computerized system where all computer meal transactions are the same. Please take advantage of the variety of menu items offered through Nutrition Services including fresh salads, wraps, sandwiches and vegetarian options daily.

Services include:

  • Breakfast and lunch provided FREE daily at all school sites to all enrolled OUHSD students beginning on the first day of school.
  • Supper and snack are provided FREE daily at ACHS, RCHS, CIHS, HHS, OHS, PHS, and RMHS beginning Thursday, September 1.  All children 18 years old and younger are welcome to participate in the supper and snack program. Service times vary, please contact Nutrition Services at 805-385-2764 for more information.

We are always eager to answer questions, and hear any comments or suggestions you or your child may have concerning the school meal program. We look forward to serving your child in the cafeteria this year!

Farm to School Program

Our Farm to School Program is designed for the students, by our students.  Our mission is to ensure that students have access to good quality, fresh, and locally grown produce each day.

Our program collects feedback through surveys, taste testing events, and social media that Nutrition Services uses to plan the school menu.  Our program promotes health and wellness on campus through events and awareness campaigns and creates and maintains school gardens that provide fruits and vegetables for the cafeterias.

We are always searching for more partners in our community to support this vital program for our students.  We need to raise funds to support our farm field trips and growing school gardens.  We also welcome donations of supplies and friends, family, and neighbors who would like to volunteer.

If you would like to support our program in any way, please contact:
