*There will be NO SCHOOL on TUESDAY JULY 4th (Independence Day Holiday)*

Master Agreement

All students must have a completed Master Agreement (MA) on file to participate in Summer School. 

Please click HERE to complete this for your student.

• MAs must be completed by the parent & student only
  • Parents can sign for students by typing the student’s name in the student name box and signing the student’s name in the student signature box
  • If a student is 18 or older on the day they sign, then a parent signature is not required, the student can put their information in the parent section
  • Signatures must be valid, symbols or straight lines are not accepted
• Third-party signatures are NOT accepted
  • Advisors, Counselors, Office Staff, etc. cannot sign or date on behalf of the student or parent.
• MAs must be completed before the 1^st day of Summer
• Translate Button 
  • A translate button has been added to the top of the page
  • Once the form is submitted it reverts back to English
• Course Field
  • Drop downs have been added and include course/transcript categories
  • Students are to select the category their summer course falls under

StudentVUE - Summer School Schedule

Your summer school schedule will be most up-to-date in your StudentVUE.

Sign in and go to CLASS SCHEDULE, or you can go to DOCUMENTS and click on the link that says Summer 23 Class Schedule. There you will see which course(s) you are registered for and who your teacher is. You will need this information to know which platform(s) below you will need to access.

If you believe you are supposed to be registered for summer school, but there is no schedule in your StudentVUE, please contact the summer school counselor.

Chromebooks

All new 9th grade students will have Chromebooks issued on the first day of Summer School. Returning CIHS students will need to bring their Chromebooks.

To check your new school email, click the Gmail logo (the M) at the bottom of your Chromebook screen.

Having problems logging in to your Chromebook or Google? Can't access your StudentVUE account? Need help accessing Canvas or Google Classroom?

Remember to submit as much information as possible including your name and student ID #, and the specific issue you need help with. Screenshots are also extremely helpful!

All platforms will use your school email address to log-in. Most will use Google Single Sign On. 

OUHSD Schools are offering 1 free breakfast and 1 free lunch to all OUHSD enrolled summer school students. OUHSD enrolled students will need to enter their student ID in order to receive their meal.

Interactive menus are available that provide nutrition information and ingredients.

 

We are also offering 1 free breakfast and 1 free lunch to any children 18 and under. These children that are not enrolled OUHSD students will need to provide their first name, last name and date of birth. We are unable to provide bulk meal pick up (meals for multiple days) like we have done in the past during the COVID19 pandemic. However, we are able to offer each child 1 grab and go bag for daily pick up by the child (or their parent). These grab and go bags will contain 1 breakfast and 1 lunch. We are offering community meals for non-OUHSD enrolled summer school students at the following sites ONLY (please see attached flyer for meal pick up times):

• Channel Islands HS

• Hueneme HS

• Oxnard HS

• Pacifica HS

• Rio Mesa HS

• Frontier HS

• Oxnard Middle College HS (no early morning pick up )
