Here we have post secondary information for the different university systems and local community colleges. Clicking on the links below will take you the application portal for each of different systems/colleges.

Dual Enrollment process is explained down below for students interested in taking community college classes while still in high school. 


 

 

The Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) is the University of California's largest academic preparation program. EAOP helps students at underserved schools prepare for college and the work force, complete all UC/CSU admission requirements, and apply for college and financial aid.

Minimum Requirements

  • Complete A-G Requirements
  • 3.0+ GPA w/ no grade lower than a C
  • UC application deadline is December 2nd.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2.5+ GPA w/ no grade lower than a C
    • GPA between 2.00 and 2.49 may be evaluated for admission based upon supplemental factors.
  • CSU application deadline is December 2nd.

The Dual Enrollment Program is an excellent opportunity for students to begin college earlier, earn college/high school  credit, explore career options, save money and be ready for college! 

 

Steps to enroll in college classes as a dual enrollment student:

Please contact your counselor if you would like to learn more about taking a Dual Enrollment course.

Oxnard College has also provided the school with a counselor, Mr. Lupian, who is available to guide CIHS students through the Dual Enrollment process, career exploration, and information regarding majors and degrees. 

He is on the CIHS campus every Tuesday and on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Scan the QR code below for an appointment.
