Students visit UCLA
On January 10th, Mrs. Euan, Ms. Reszel and Ms. Gonzan took a group of students to the University of California, Los Angeles. Students received a guided tour of the campus, learned its history and all about the different majors, clubs and sports they can be involved in at the university level. They also had time to explore the bookstore and dine in their food court. This trip exposed students to college and university life and inspired many to work harder in their academics and set bigger goals for themselves.
Last week our Counselors were treated to a nice lunch in celebration of National Counselor Week.
On Friday, February 8, 2019 CSF fundraised with Henna art during Raiderfest.

On Wednesday February 13, 2019, the BFA Seniors were provided one last opportunity to receive professional feedback prior to their big Virtual Enterprise International Trade Show competition coming up on Tuesday at the Pasadena Convention Center.
Last week, students were given a great opportunity to role play their sales presentations with BFA Advisory Board Member, Linda McCarthy of BNI-VC. This week, BFA Advisory Board President Soane Sevelo, of AXA Advisors, enabled students to add some finishing touches to their presentation. In the process, they gave Mr. Sevelo their “Royal Treatment” as they invited him to “Slide into Royal Comfort” (their company slogan) with their “LTS Slides” (Luminous Thermal Slides) … their chosen company name and product this year.
If you happen to see a student from Ms. Powers’ BFA senior class this week, please wish them well in their big competition on Tuesday!
