Mr. Galindo reports that Girls Cross Country competed at Mission Oaks Park in Camarillo where the JV girls placed 3rd as a team led by CI’s Alondra Baltazr 9th overall.   Varsity girls came back strong for a 3rd place finish after the last PVL meet where they took 4th.  Varsity girls were led by sophomore Maria Texis 11th place, and 2 freshmen’s  Delaila Juarez 12th and Wendy Rivera 15th.  This is a very young spirited girls varsity team with lots of potential.  If the girls place 3rd again at finals they’ll advance to CIF.

This Saturday both boys’ and girl’s teams will be at Lake casitas for Ventura County Championships
