In collaboration with the EAOP program, we will be hosting the annual Higher Education Week (HEW) event for Seniors on Friday, October 5th. It will take place during 5th and 6th period in the gym. We are very excited to have over 25 school representatives on campus from various institutions of higher education! The first session for the Fall Parent Project happened this past Tuesday, Oct. 2, with a strong support of 30 parents in attendance.  Probation Department will be holding these Parent Project sessions.  The parents were enthusiastic as to the different aspects and learning tools of the program. Parents were very grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a program.  The Parent Project sessions will last 10 weeks, with meetings being held weekly every Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with light refreshments offered.  At the end of the 10-week program, each participant will receive a certificate of participation reflecting their commitment and participation in not just their student’s lives, but the community as a whole.
