COUNSELING
About the Counseling Department
The mission of the counseling and student support services team is to ensure that all students have a plan to earn a high school diploma and to prepare for education, training and careers after high school. High school graduation is the important first step in that plan. All of the members of the CIHS counseling and student support team want to see students not only graduate from high school, but also have a plan for making the most of their talents, abilities and interests. On the way to graduation, consider taking extra challenging classes, learning some essential job skills, investigating different careers and participating in extra-curricular activities. Don't forget to take the time to enjoy time with family and friends as well as maintaining physical and mental health.
